Job Summary
The Tucson Roadrunners are seeking an ambitious and motivated Digital Marketing Coordinator to support our creative services team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Keep marketing projects on schedule and ensure all tasks are completed on time. Collaborate with the Creative Art Director and cross-functional teams (In-Arena, Social Media, Sales, Traditional Marketing) to gather content and assets for campaign execution.
- Digital Asset Management: Assist in organizing and maintaining our digital assets, including photos, videos, and other creative materials.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all creative content (emails, ads, website updates) is error-free. Double-check game dates, times, and links for accuracy.
- Form Creation (Formstack): Help build online forms, ensuring they are set up correctly and routed to the appropriate channels.
- Email Marketing (Marketo): Support email marketing efforts by setting up campaigns, managing data lists, and scheduling email deployments. Training will be provided.
- Ongoing link tracking and data analysis when applicable.
- Text Messaging Campaigns: Manage text message communications through our SMS platform. Assist with scheduling and deploying messages to our fan database (training provided).
- Optional Graphic Design: Assist with basic graphic design tasks (e.g., Photoshop, Figma, Canva). While not required, design skills are a plus!
- Website Management: Assist with minor updates to our website using WordPress (training available if needed).
- Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned to support the marketing department.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; or equivalent experience in marketing.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail to ensure all content is accurate and on-brand.
- A self-starter who works well both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proficiency with digital tools (Microsoft Office, Google Suite); familiarity with Formstack, Marketo, and WordPress is a plus (training provided).
- Creative mindset and eagerness to learn new skills in marketing and digital media.
This is a part time position with 29 hours maximum weekly paying approximately $15 - $18 an hour with on-the-job training to add valued experience to your resume.
