Q 106.5, a two-time CMA Small Market Station of the Year, has held the top market position for 35 consecutive years. Townsquare Media - Bangor has a very rare opportunity to join the Q 106.5 morning show. Along with your exceptional on-air talent, you'll also create original digital content for our station web-site. The staff at Q 106.5 is long-standing and eager to welcome you to their team. If you love people, are comfortable on the street connecting with listeners, love country music and want to live in a city that's well known for its great way of life then we'd love to talk with you. • Co-Host the Q 106.5 morning show
• Spend time each day doing daily show prep.
• Entertain, engage, informs the listener audience both on the air, via digital content, and social media outlets.
• Publish a minimum of 2 original local articles per day on the station website and mobile app.
• Conducts on-air interviews, attends and assists in all market cluster live events, and produces commercials on a daily basis.
• Conducts Live Remotes and appearances and assist in special promotions and programming activities.

Qualifications

• Market leading on-air talent
• Experience writing digital content, or the ability to learn how quicly!
• Knowledge and passion for the Country Music format
• Great interpersonal skills. You'll be a partner with market management, other brand ambassadors, sales and staff at all levels.
• Technical skills including operation of control board, remote broadcasting, and other related production equipment.
• Quickly become proficient with Zetta and Adobe Audition.
• A friendly persona, as you'll interact with our loyal audience daily on the air, and in public.
• Proficient at client endorsements, and the ability to connect and relate with our customers
