RIver Street Rocks is Savannah's largest collection of crystals and minerals. We offer an extremely wide variety of gems from all over the world!

We showcase and educate the public about the beauty and wonders of the Geology and the Metaphysical world of crystals and gems..

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team (20- 40 HRS A WEEK) We are a pretty fast paced little shop that is located inside of the River Street Marketplace, on East River Street. This is a position that is based heavily in sales, So at least 5 years DIRECT SALES AND RETAIL CUSTOMER SERVICE experience is required. Sales IS NOT being a cashier. ( Although you will be a cashier too!) It is actively SELLING things to people. If you dont have experience, DONT APPLY! I prefer a neat (and sylish) apperance and organizational skills is a must. I ultimately hire for charisma, experience and personality!

Bonus points for Geologic and or Metaphysical Knowledge of Crystals and Minerals !!!!!!

Pay starts at $15 an hour. and we have room for advancement! More money for more experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a relaxed but fast-paced environment and has a passion for crystals and customer service.

Duties:

- Assist customers with their inquiries and provide exceptional customer service

- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently

- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment

- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed

- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise

- Provide support to the Shop Manager in various tasks as needed

Skills:

- Strong retail math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management

- Ability to manage shifts effectively and ensure smooth operations

- At least 5 years previous experience in retail sales is REQUIRED

- Strong organizational skills to maintain a tidy shop environment
