As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs. Responsibilities: - Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration - Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals - Implement individualized care plans and follow specific protocols - Assist with transportation to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities - Document and maintain accurate records of services provided - Monitor and report any changes in individuals' physical or emotional well-being - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care Skills: - Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred - Ability to lift and assist with transfers of individuals who may have limited mobility - Knowledge of senior care, hospice care, or assisted living is a plus - Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and basic first aid procedures - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals - Ability to administer medications following proper protocols - Willingness to engage in heavy lifting as required We offer competitive compensation packages and opportunities for career growth within our organization. Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
