Little Genius Academy is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Director/Administrative Assistant for our Early Education Child Care Facility. If you're passionate about working with children and thrive in an administrative role, this position might be your ideal fit. As a vital member of our team, you'll be expected to be a collaborative team player. Your role will encompass both classroom involvement when necessary and administrative duties. We highly value qualities like kindness, patience, and affection, as a significant portion of your day will be spent in the company of young children. It is mandatory that you hold current CPR/First Aid certification, and experience with Creative Curriculum is definitely a bonus, as we implement it from infancy through Pre-K. Proficiency with Procare would also be a great advantage.

The Assistant Director will report directly to the Director and will assume several vital responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Overseeing staff management.
- Engaging with parents and families.
- Handling marketing and financial tasks.
- Providing classroom coverage as needed (previous early education experience is required).
- Adhering to all Little Genius Academy philosophies, policies, and procedures.
- Supporting and maintaining safety standards, supervision, and program excellence.
- Demonstrating strong leadership and effective communication with both teachers and families.
- Assisting with day-to-day center operations.
- Conducting facility tours.
- Ensuring training hours for both yourself and employees are up-to-date and properly documented.
- Daily facility monitoring to ensure a safe and healthy environment for children.
- Maintaining organized, clean, and clutter-free classrooms.
- Participating in staff meetings, open houses, and special on-site events.
- Possessing a minimum of an associate degree (preferably in psychology, sociology, early education, or business management).
- Demonstrating proficiency in using Procare efficiently.
- Acting as a substitute for the Director in their absence.
- Flexibility with work hours, including the ability to open and/or close the center.
- Full compliance with all state regulations and policies.

Salary: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour.
