    Job Description

    The Global Finance Modernization Global Deployment Lead ensures successful implementation of the future state of the Finance function.  The role has insights and understanding of the efforts to define business readiness, implement business processes, deployment of Finance solutions and enhancements to be able to coordinate systems and process testing, people readiness, and stabilization with the markets. The Wave Deployment Lead is responsible for working with workstreams leads for that Wave Deployment and coordinating the work with the market Wave lead(s) to ensure the right collaboration and teamwork between the Global and the Market teams and support the Market team so they can deliver in a timely manner.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Keep track all wave deliverables, planning and synchronization with broader team, and prioritization of delivery team activities at the global level
    • Ensure the deployment wave is operating to plan at the market level proactively identifying risk and issues, and engaging the right parties to mitigate risk and resolve issues
    • Champion program governance and project status forums, ensuring that the market teams are apprised of actions and decisions to ensure timely, high-quality decision making with respect to the global and the market team coordination
    • Influence market stakeholders to support the integrated project plan and ensure organizational readiness and commitment of ongoing enhancements, optimization, and value realization activities.
    • Ensure that complex large-scale efforts involving organizational design, functional solutions, change initiatives, and process improvement are being managed in a way that the markets get the support they need
    • Coordinate and engage with key cross-workstream internal partners to streamline interactions while maintaining line of sight to dependencies required for success
    • Build market team ownership and commitment to project, business plans, project milestones, deliverables, and associated resource requirements
    • Proactively identify and assess areas of risk, escalate issues in a timely manner and drive team for resolutions
    • Collaborate with PMO and 3rd party vendor leadership to drive deliverables for assigned wave
    • Mentors, encourages, and enables skill development of project team members
    • Provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience being a part of multi-workstream global transformation programs is critical
    • Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives
    • Prior program and project management experience leading large scale, integrated Finance transformation program
    • Strong, professional communication skills, with ability to engage with executive leadership using appropriate level of detail, terminology, and style.
    • Ability to quickly adapt to changes
    • Uses influence to drive decision making and find resolutions in a collaborative manner
    • A strong team player, proven team leadership potential
    • Superior organization skills and the ability to identify connections across multiple stakeholders
    • Access and strong influence with Business leaders to drive alignment and ascertain we have the right Business engagement
    • Significant Finance knowledge and proficiency across numerous functional areas
    • Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve issues and risks, escalating them as needed
    • Ability to negotiate changes to commitments and requirements
    • Ability to develop project team members (e.g., skills, career, etc.) and conduct performance reviews
    • Ability to review ongoing and proposed projects to identify opportunities for reuse and process improvement
