Director - Stage, Motion Pictures, Television jobs in Houston, TX

Responsible for assisting with assembling and disassembling of stages for concerts, conventions and numerous major productions.

Load and unload equipment from trucks.

Unload and set up road cases.

Ensure props are affixed properly.

Assist with video, sound and light (as qualified and needed)

Disassemble and store sets.

Ensure props are present at the beginning of scene and taken away at the end.

Dismantle stages and other set pieces.

Clean up stage and backstage area after event. It is required to have a high level of fitness, good teamwork skills, and work well under pressure.

Good practical and technical skills desired.

Qualifications
- Experience working on set
- Proficiency with lighting, truss, and stage construction
- Background in Production

These qualifications will be essential for success in the role of Stage Hand

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
