We are looking for a Director of Distribution interested in starting a SWEET career as part of our Operations business at both our PIM’s Headquarters in Park Ridge, New Jersey and our manufacturing location in Somerset, New Jersey.
As the Director of Distribution, you will be responsible for all inbound and outbound transportation as well as Raw Materials, Packaging and Finished Goods warehousing. This role will develop overall global logistics and warehousing strategies, effectively coordinate best practices across logistics functions, and foster collaborative partnerships with both PIM colleagues and third-party logistics providers (3PLs). The Director must deliver the agreed to service and financial results by supporting the overall PIM corporate, financial and Supply Chain strategy implementation. The Director of Distribution is a critical member of the Supply Chain Leadership Team.
In this role, you will report to the Chief Supply Chain Officer and work closely with cross-functional teams, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure the smooth coordination and execution of distribution activities and continuous improvement activities. You will collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, other third-party logistics providers and warehouses to manage relationships and drive continuous improvement in cost and service quality.
