Disaster Recovery Analyst implements and supports the policies, procedures, and programs that ensure the recovery, security, and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology in the event of a disruption or unanticipated disaster. Performs risk management analysis and documents disaster recovery plans. Being an Disaster Recovery Analyst identifies and secures the necessary off-site resources required for the organization's resumption plan. Develops and executes testing processes to validate the disaster recovery plans and identify the plans' weaknesses and failure points. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Analyst confirms all action plans are documented, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders in the organization. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Disaster Recovery Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Flood Zone provides 24-hour service to commercial customers.

    A Crew Leader will directly supervise workers on restoration or construction projects. Monitors the productivity of workers and the quality of work performed. Ensures work conforms to standards, plans, and schedules and that all safety policies and procedures are enforced.

    A Crew Leader is also responsible for performing restoration and disaster cleanup tasks such as moisture detection, water extraction, manipulate of equipment, set up containments, removing damaged building materials, clean the area and/or contents, documenting all activities, and other tasks as determined by their supervisor.

    This position is for a bi-lingual (Spanish and English Speaking) Crew Leader.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Coordinating tasks according to priorities and plans.
    • Allocating general and daily responsibilities.
    • Supervising and training workers and tradespeople.
    • Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
    • Supervising the use of machinery and equipment.
    • Resolving problems when they arise.
    • Assessing damaged properties to determine the extent of damage.
    • Handling any issues caused by water damage, including drying out the area and removing mold.
    • Set-up, monitoring, and manipulating equipment.
    • Removing damaged materials, such as drywall, flooring, and cabinetry.
    • Cleaning damaged properties.
    • Maintaining readiness of equipment, tools, vehicles, and trailers.
    • Following all instructions of projthe ct manager and other supervisors.

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Must be able to speak and write English well.
    • Excellent working knowledge of hand and power tools.
    • General knowledge of construction, equipment, and OSHA guidelines preferred.
    • Physical fitness and stamina.
    • The ability to read drawings, plans, blueprints, and safety guides.
    • Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
    • Professionalism and respect.
    • Good math skills.
    • Driven, detail-oriented, works well in a team, and self-motivated.
    • Problem-solving abilities.
    • Willing and able to work long hours, weekends, some holidays, and be on-call.
    • Willingness to travel for disaster areas and out-of-town projects.
    • Must have reliable transportation to and from work and valid driver’s license.
    • Ability to work and handle high-stress emergencies.

    Minimum Education and Experience:

    • A high school diploma or GED.
    • 1 years experience of team leadership experience.
    • Restoration experience would be great but is not required. Training provided.

    Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

    • Pass background screening requirements.
    • Willing to travel.
    • Frequently lift and carry 50lbs or greater.
    • Frequent bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing, walking, pushing.
    • High temperatures and extremely dry (low humidity) (8 hours per day).
    • Extreme outdoor and indoor environments in all types of weather (8 hours per day).
    • Tight spaces such as attics and crawlspace.
    • Perform physically demanding work in protective clothing, respirators, and goggles
    • Overtime and weekend work availability.
