Disaster Recovery Analyst implements and supports the policies, procedures, and programs that ensure the recovery, security, and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology in the event of a disruption or unanticipated disaster. Performs risk management analysis and documents disaster recovery plans. Being an Disaster Recovery Analyst identifies and secures the necessary off-site resources required for the organization's resumption plan. Develops and executes testing processes to validate the disaster recovery plans and identify the plans' weaknesses and failure points. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Analyst confirms all action plans are documented, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders in the organization. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Disaster Recovery Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Overview
In Warren County, the our Disaster Team was able to respond to 18 events (fires, floods, etc) between May 2021 until June 2022. We were able to provide services to 63 individuals to ensure that their basic needs were met after a life changing disaster. We want to ensure that we can provide seamless services to Warren County families them for services from our counties. The commitment for our Disaster Volunteer in Warren County is very flexible being that home fires and natural disasters average about one to two events per month.
Responsibilities: Our Disaster Action Team provide 24-hour emergency response to local disasters, particularly house fires, ensuring that those affected have access to resources for basic needs such as food, shelter, and clothing etc.
