Disaster Recovery Analyst jobs in Lancaster, PA

Disaster Recovery Analyst implements and supports the policies, procedures, and programs that ensure the recovery, security, and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology in the event of a disruption or unanticipated disaster. Performs risk management analysis and documents disaster recovery plans. Being an Disaster Recovery Analyst identifies and secures the necessary off-site resources required for the organization's resumption plan. Develops and executes testing processes to validate the disaster recovery plans and identify the plans' weaknesses and failure points. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Analyst confirms all action plans are documented, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders in the organization. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Disaster Recovery Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Job Summary/Basic Function
    The CDRE department is seeking Emergency Management students to work as Office Assistants in the department office

    Required Qualifications
    • Emergency Management Major
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
    • Ability to use office telephone, including answering calls, initiating calls, transferring calls, placing calls on hold and taking messages.
    • Ability to use department copier/printer/scanner.
    • Good communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Previous experience working in an office setting
    • Customer service skills
    • Computer skills (Proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel, etc.)

    Job Duties
    Task may be included but are not limited to:
    • Student Office Assistants support the day-to-day operations and work independently and/or as a team to accomplish the overall mission and goals of the office.
    • May make deliveries around campus, dropping off and picking up materials to and from other departments.
    • Copy, print and scan documents when necessary.
    • Perform specific duties and provide assistance when requested.
    • Answering telephone calls, transferring them, and/or taking messages.

    Working Conditions and Physical Effort
    • Be able to sit and use a computer for the length of shift
    • Be able to make deliveries & pickups on campus
    • Be able to use department photocopier
