Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Disaster Recovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Job Description: Disaster Case Manager
Reports to: Disaster Case Management Supervisor, Program Manager
Status: Full-time Exempt Grant Funded. Work is in the Rolling Fork, MS area and surrounding counties.
BACKGROUND
Disaster Case Management is a time-limited process by which a skilled associate (Disaster Case Manager) partners with a disaster-affected individual or family (Survivor) in order to plan for and achieve realistic goals for recovery following a disaster. This comprehensive and holistic Disaster Case Management approach to recovery extends beyond providing relief, providing a service, or meeting urgent needs.
ROLE OF THE CASE MANAGER:
The Disaster Case Manager serves as a primary point of contact, assisting the Survivor in coordinating necessary services and resources to address the Survivor’s complex disaster recovery needs in order to re-establish normalcy. The Disaster Case Manager relies on the Survivor to play an active or lead role in his or her own recovery. The Disaster Case Manager reports to a DCM Supervisor.

The position is hybrid, in-person and remote work. The expectation is that most work will be conducted in-person and requires visits with Survivors or in-office work. Other hours (up to 40 hours) can be worked remotely. The schedule will be set by the DSC Management.
