Job Summary

The Brokerage Operations Manager will oversee the customer interactions and sales team for all Florida operations in a non-warehouse, non-asset environment. They will work closely with the team members to ensure fulfillment of all tracking and brokerage requirements. They will facilitate and monitor for effective communication, both internally with the sales team and directly with carriers based on shipping requirements. The Brokerage Operations Manager will collaborate with various departments to ensure that all contractual requirements are reviewed, acknowledged and supported.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Using assigned systems and applications, lead the team to schedule carriers for shipping requirements per booking instructions, ensuring all information is relayed accurately
• In tune with market trends, capacity, and spot market and contract pricing
• Involved in various processes of operations, overseeing the actions of direct reports to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Work closely with departments to ensure that all orders are coordinated for on-time delivery
• Review team interactions to provide regular coaching to support team growth and development
• Be available to assist team members with escalated matters, as necessary
• Comply with laws, regulations and standards, completing any required documentation as applicable
• Meet performance deadlines and adhere to all client shipping requirements
• Ability to be flexible and work extended hours as required
• Adhere to all Titanium Transportation Group Inc. service standards and policies, including Health & Safety
• Work in compliance with the provisions of Occupational Health and Safety

Job Requirements

• Successful completion of post-secondary studies
• Knowledge of associated transportation laws and regulations would be essential for this role
• Experience working in a leadership or management role, overseeing no fewer than 4-5 direct reports
• Proven experience working in a leadership or management role within transportation industry
• Strong experience in freight brokerage within 3PL transportation company
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Proficient with the use of a computer, including but not limited to the use of Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Sound business judgment and ability to perform insightful analysis
• Experience working with customers through various means of communication and ability to manage customer relations
• Ability to communicate effectively with others and work as a member of a team
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills; organizational planning and time management skills
