Discount Brokerage Sales Representative is responsible for the timely buying and selling of securities for clients at discounted commissions. Ensures accuracy of transactions and keeps abreast of market conditions. Being a Discount Brokerage Sales Representative typically does not make investment recommendations unless client holds advised account or other fee-based product. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area and may require state licensure. Additionally, Discount Brokerage Sales Representative requires NASD series 7 license. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Discount Brokerage Sales Representative occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Responsibilities and Duties
· Perform Post Sale Confirmation Calls
· Provide timely, proactive customer updates.
· Assist with customer unit swaps due to pre-delivery issues as directed by the QA/CSM
· Delegate customer service issues to the appropriate departments.
· Other duties as assigned by management.
· Work Schedule will be: 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday. Overtime is on an as needed basis with prior approval of the General Manager.
