Distribution Clerk performs a variety of clerical, customer service, and administrative duties to support operations of a distribution center. Monitors inventory levels to ensure sufficient levels are available to fulfill all orders. Being a Distribution Clerk ensures that all required paperwork, including labels, packing lists, and transport instructions, is prepared. Utilizes tracking systems to input or look up information. Additionally, Distribution Clerk complies with all OSHA and other regulations, policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Distribution Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Seeking a full-time warehouse shipping/inventory clerk for an exceptionally busy wholesale distribution center.
Responsibilities would include:
· Shipping and receiving orders using our internal systems
· Moving items on pallets/crates around the warehouse
· Assist/maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control
· Allocate necessary space for stock rotation
· Labeling and scanning products in a quick and efficient manner
· Breaking down and disposing of empty product boxes/pallets
· Other tasks as needed.
· Applicants will need to be able to lift heavy packages (50lb ).
· 9 hour shifts 4 days per week
