Distribution Clerk performs a variety of clerical, customer service, and administrative duties to support operations of a distribution center. Monitors inventory levels to ensure sufficient levels are available to fulfill all orders. Being a Distribution Clerk ensures that all required paperwork, including labels, packing lists, and transport instructions, is prepared. Utilizes tracking systems to input or look up information. Additionally, Distribution Clerk complies with all OSHA and other regulations, policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Distribution Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. The department of Supply Chain has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Sr. Materials Management Clerk to work at UHealth. The Materials Management Clerk 2 accurately performs all receiving and delivery functions related to the receipt and distribution of supplies in assigned facilities. The Materials Management Clerk 2 serves as a lead to junior members of the team in providing departments with appropriate supplies via the Par Level system, responds to special requests for supplies, restocks crash carts and specialty carts, promotes a positive image of the department, and maintains a neat, organized storeroom and prep room. The Materials Management Clerk 2 assists the manager in maintaining records related to the receiving and distribution functions and coordinating pickup and deliveries as assigned by the Manager, Materials Management. Properly maintains adequate inventory in main store rooms and floor stock areas. Prints and places appropriate labels on inventory packages. Requisitions, receives, stocks, and replenishes supplies daily or as needed. Checks expiration dates on supplies in inventory and rotates supplies. Assists in unloading and unpacking inventory items as they are received. Notifies managing staff of any issues, such as overstocking and discrepancies. Assures that supplies are charged appropriately on the day of delivery. Ensures that receiving and ordering paperwork is accurate and preserved appropriately. Assist with unloading, unpacking, and storing inventory items as received. Provides leadership as the lead member of the team and assist the Materials Management Manager with shipping and receiving documentation as needed. Coordinates emergency deliveries with the requesting department’s administration. Functions as the liaison between Receiving, Purchasing, and the Inventory Coordinator in resolving any discrepant receipts. Responsible for assuring that all work areas and storage areas are maintained in a safe and proper appearance. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 year of relevant experience Valid FL Drivers License Required Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes: Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
