Distribution Clerk performs a variety of clerical, customer service, and administrative duties to support operations of a distribution center. Monitors inventory levels to ensure sufficient levels are available to fulfill all orders. Being a Distribution Clerk ensures that all required paperwork, including labels, packing lists, and transport instructions, is prepared. Utilizes tracking systems to input or look up information. Additionally, Distribution Clerk complies with all OSHA and other regulations, policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Distribution Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Job Summary:
The Distribution Technician provides leadership and support within the Distribution Department to ensure all exchange/par level carts are inventoried and replenished in a timely manner. Works as a liaison between departments and Coordinator to provide high quality service.
Job Requirements:
Education: High School graduate required.
Experience: 2 - 4 years of distribution and warehouse experience, preferably in a hospital environment. Required: Current Class C - California Driver License
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Effective communication skills required. Ability to use computer systems preferred. Strong organizational and teamwork concepts preferred. Perform with minimum supervision. Good knowledge of medical supplies, inventory control, distribution/par cart techniques, and warehouse procedures.
