IDS is a national unloading service looking for a motivated, hardworking individual to lead our team in a fast paced food distribution center. We need someone who is ready to help IDS and our customer achieve their goals – quickly, safely and efficiently. We need someone who is going to ensure a positive and engaging work environment is achieved.

This position will be Monday and Friday from 1:45am – finish 9am, approx 35-40 hours. 

The hands-on supervisor will perform all aspects of the Warehouse Operation; unloading, sorting and separating products proper pallet building, electric pallet jack and forklift operation. This Warehouse Supervisor position is responsible for overseeing the employees on their shift that perform all of the essential duties in a Distribution Center. As well as ensuring employees are maximizing overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highest safety standards.

Primary Duties:

• Communicate expectations and goals daily and weekly to employees to ensure performance standards are being met
• Hold employees accountable
• Coach and train employees to ensure a safe environment
• Supervisor will communicate daily with customer to ensure needs are being met
• Be a working supervisor so you will also be responsible for working alongside the employees unloading freight from trailers, sort and segregate product, stacking pallets, wrapping freight and operating pallet jack and forklift.

Requirements

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. 

Must be able to be on their feet majority of the day.
