Distribution Manager manages and deploys the operational strategy, business processes, and systems for overall distribution operations, including order fulfillment, warehousing, inventory management, and transportation. Communicates and monitors production measurement metrics and sets performance targets at the team and individual level for all distribution-related functions that align with company objectives and are within regulatory guidelines. Being a Distribution Manager utilizes data-driven analytical tools and systems to continuously monitor operations, identify inefficiencies, and develop optimization strategies. Troubleshoots and resolves escalated operational issues. Additionally, Distribution Manager ensures all operations adhere to industry safety protocols and comply with OSHA, DOT, or other governmental regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Distribution Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. The Frankfort Plant Board has an opening for an experienced full-time Water Distribution Operator. The successful candidate will perform skilled maintenance, repair, and construction work on the potable water distribution system.
Graduation from high school or equivalent, plus two years of construction experience. Must possess and maintain a valid Kentucky driver's license. Must obtain a valid Class A CDL issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky during first year after appointment to the class. Must be able to respond to calls in emergencies at all hours.
We offer $21.14 hourly plus an excellent benefits package including Health, Dental, and Vision insurance and membership in the KY Retirement System. All applicants must be able to successfully complete drug screening and background investigation.
