The Distribution Operations Manager ensures distribution staff deliver efficient operations and timely deliveries to meet distribution performance goals. Manages the distribution of products, parts, and inventory. Being a Distribution Operations Manager direct warehouse operations including transportation, maintenance and order management. Analyze existing processes and propose improvements and new methods to control costs and enhance customer satisfaction. In addition, Distribution Operations Manager may require an associate's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Distribution Operations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager.     What will you do?

    • CUSTOMER - You will develop lasting relationships with customers. Provide an excellent customer purchasing experience leading to dedicated and residual business partnerships.
    • PEOPLE - Have a team-oriented attitude and approach with the GVW group and customer base. People are what drives our business.
    • PRODUCT - Sales: Develop and execute customer-specific sales strategies with Re-sell Clients in the assigned territory.
    • Market - Understand each customer’s market and communicate any competitor market developments with the leadership team.
    • OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE - Outstanding organizational, detailed focus and follow sales processes thoroughly.

    Ideal candidates will be self-starters, intellectually curious, entrepreneurial and operate with the highest ethical standards.

    What does it take to be part of our team?

    • Direct Sales Experience a plus
    • Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in commercial vehicle parts or commercial business-to-business
