Manages the distribution of products, parts, and inventory. Being a Distribution Operations Manager direct warehouse operations including transportation, maintenance and order management. Analyze existing processes and propose improvements and new methods to control costs and enhance customer satisfaction. In addition, Distribution Operations Manager may require an associate's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Distribution Operations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Safety Advocate: In the coordination of operations, safety takes precedence. You'll uphold Burlington's safety policies with a vigilant eye, reducing accidents and costs with steadfast watchfulness. **You’ll Come With:** Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience 4 years’ experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment. Understanding of supply chain, distribution, warehouse, transportation, and inventory. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Good reasoning, conflict-management, and analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with WMS, distribution technology, and distribution equipment (conveyors, MHE, etc.). Able to read and interpret necessary policies and procedures to perform updates and operate systems and other programs within the Distribution Center Ability to work a flexible schedule Able to access all areas of the Distribution Center, including the mezzanine platforms Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more and the ability to stand for extended periods of time Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) a plus _Come join our team.
