Distribution System Operator jobs in Auburn, AL

Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move materials within the warehouse
- Safely load and unload trucks and containers using a forklift
- Use warehouse management system to track inventory and locate items
- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisor and team members to ensure efficient operations

Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Proven experience operating a variety of forklifts, including reach trucks, order pickers, cherry pickers, and lift trucks
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment
- Familiarity with distribution center operations and processes
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Pay: $12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
