Job Summary
Title Clerk/Billing Clerk

The Cortes Auto Group is seeking an experienced Title Clerk/Billing Clerk to join our administrative team. As a member of our accounting department, this successful candidate will be responsible for processing transactions related to title work along with billing car deals with precise and accurate detail, processing financial documents, adhering to privacy policies, submitting payoffs among many other tasks like handling the paperwork and accounting for purchasing/wholesaling vehicles as well as other related tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills and an eye for detail and structure. 

Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, hourly Position. We offer competitive rates DOE, paid semimonthly. Benefits included after 30 days of employment, medical, dental & vision. We also offer an employer 401(k) plan as well as vacation after your first year of employment.

Responsibilities
• Processing title paperwork for automobiles
• Reconciling accounts
• Auditing accounts for accuracy and completeness
• Posting car deals and receipting all funding for car deals daily
• Knowledge in automotive dealership accounting
• Filing documents
• Entering data into accounting software
• Having the ability to work through things to successfully work out issues/ Doing the research involved and having the drive to solve problems
• Researching discrepancies as needed
• Acting as a liaison between the accounting office and the Finance Department with clear communication

Requirements
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Knowledge of accounting best practices
• Strong computer skills including MS Office
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Excellent attention to detail
• Great communication skills
• Auto Dealership experience required
• Having a professional attitude
