Full Time Facility Project Manager:  Kwik Trip, Inc. has an employment opportunity for a Facility Project Manager supporting Kwik Trip’s campus facilities in La Crosse, WI.  The Facility Project Manager is responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of projects.  Projects will range from building expansions and remodels to transportation out lot improvements.

Primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist in planning, coordination, and management of facility projects
• Coordinate and carryout of meetings to include appropriate team members. Provide timely update information and progress reporting
• Lead the planning of building design and assist process line/equipment design, while considering best practice and consideration of safety, labor, efficiency, utilization, quality, food safety, and cost of ownership
• Define and manage specifications of proposed purchases
• Manage direct distribution, manufacturing and supporting equipment installations.
• Assist/Lead Development and Maintenance of Project Budgets
• Carry out project planning and execution phases, including a clean transition between all phases of implementation.
• Ensure use of all tools available to negotiate best purchase pricing.
• Establish and maintain relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers, and vendors.
• Ability to work well with team members to leverage knowledge & experience to maximize effectiveness and efficiency of project activity.
• Facilitate discussions on best practices, methods, and materials to use in a variety of environments

Qualifications:

• Position level and starting pay commensurate with selected candidate's level of education, skillset, and experience.
• Minimum of Associates/Technical Degree with experience in project management.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Ability to respond to continually changing priorities.
• Strong organizational skills: maintain schedule to complete projects within time and budget.
• Ability to identify and complete tasks without direct supervision.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a faced paced environment.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret information into meaningful results.
• Ability to lead, teach, and persuade others through cooperation and teamwork.
• Exercise sound judgment within company guidelines; follow and enforce company policies.
• Experience with construction management and site engineering activities

Preferred qualifications include:

• A candidate with construction, maintenance, or engineering background. 
• Knowledge of safety practices; Distribution and Manufacturing Processes and Equipment Systems; material flow through a working process; sanitary equipment design; industrial construction methods and execution.
• Ability to create and work with spreadsheets.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, initiatives, budgets, and timelines.
• Experience reading and understanding engineering specifications, drawings, schematics, etc.

Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday daytime hours, however, includes evening and weekends as necessary.  Some travel is required.
