Being a Divisional Merchandising Manager develops merchandise plans and pricing that support key strategic initiatives, launches, top sellers, seasonal campaigns, and trends. Partners across functions to manage vendor relationships, identify new vendors, and negotiate favorable contract terms. Additionally, Divisional Merchandising Manager requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, merchandising, business or other related field. Typically reports to top management. Successful candidate will have a minimum of ten (10) years of commercial HVAC experience servicing, repairing and installing commercial heating, ventilation & air conditioning; heat pumps; refrigeration systems.
The position includes assisting and supervising service technician(s), project estimating and sales, customer relations, and hands-on service work as well including preventive maintenance service, emergency service, repairs and installations. Hourly wage based on skill level and experience. Some overtime should be expected based on work load.
Requirements:
Must possess a valid Maine driver’s license and be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and pre-employment medical evaluation. Some state-wide travel may be expected with some overnight stays but very infrequently. The ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, within a diverse team is very important.
Must be able to read, write and understand technical specifications, manufacturer’s documentation, & engineering plans. Must be able to communicate effectively with engineers, customers, and all building trades. Must be able to safely access construction sites, mechanical rooms, rooftops, and other areas where equipment might be.
