DME Racing is currently located in Winston-Salem, NC, with a second location being built in Mocksville, NC. We are looking for a hard-working professional able to work with our staff and undertake various office support tasks. This person will be comfortable working with great attention to detail and incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results with our team.
You must be willing to learn about our market and move with us to your new location in Mocksville, NC, in the next year. We have a close-knit family-oriented environment, and we want a candidate that wants to grow with us long-term.
Responsibilities:
- General office administrative and clerical skills to perform receptionist duties and answer telephones.
- Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures.
- Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner.
- Maintaining files, creating and updating records, and ensuring the accuracy and validity of the information.
- Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages.
- Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies.
- Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues.
- Overseeing clerical tasks, such as sorting and sending mail.
- Keeping an inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials as needed.
- Working with staff to ensure the office runs smoothly.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office programs, Excel experience a must.
- A fully qualified typist (computer keyboard) with a minimum of 50 WPM is required.
- General ethics, telephone etiquette, and excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proven experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, or another relevant administrative role.
- Working knowledge of computers and office equipment.
- Thorough understanding of office procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving.
