Summary/Objective
The Maintenance Tech is an employee who conducts machine troubleshooting, repair, and preventative services. The role is to ensure that the team achieves the Company’s goals and abides by all Safety, Housekeeping, Quality, and Production Goal standards set forth daily. The Maintenance Tech plays a vital role in controlling the plant’s overall efficiencies through downtime management and preventive measures.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This position works in a manufacturing/Fabrication setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. The noise level in work environment is usually moderate. Proper PPE will be administered. Employee will be frequently exposed to mechanical parts and vibration.
