Document Control Analyst administers document and record control operations, policies, and procedures for the secure management and access of company information assets. Maintains and enforces security protocols for the access, storage, backup, maintenance, reproduction, protection, and disposition of all documents. Being a Document Control Analyst evaluates media formats and follows storage requirements to protect and secure records/information. Analyzes access and control procedures to comply with requirements for varying levels of security classifications specified by the governing authority. Additionally, Document Control Analyst performs auditing, monitoring, and change control systems to May require a bachelor's degree. May require security clearance. Typically reports to a manager. The Document Control Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     DOCUMENT CONTROL PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Create, edit and finalize corporate and technical reports
    • Handle multiple priorities and deadlines with exemplary follow through
    • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Organize and maintain electronic files, prepare items for approval/signature
    • Ability to plan, organize, and complete own work assignments without close supervision
    • May prepare and type daily complex reports relating to a wide variety of subject matter utilizing various computer programs
    • Adhere to Company standards and ensure consistency
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Pre-employment drug screen and background check
    • Work station and laptop will be provided

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    Education:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree, college course work preferred

    Experience:

    • Minimum one-year work experience as an administrative assistant helpful
    • Background in construction and/or engineering field helpful

    Skills:

    • Ability to learn new software quickly
    • Ability to read construction plans and specifications helpful
    • Exceptional writing, review, and editing capabilities with experience finalizing reports and preparing external communications
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to organize, prioritize, follow through on projects, and work independently
    • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Internet, Database, Project Management, GMS, and CRM experience preferred
    • A good understanding of general office practices, procedures, and office equipment
    • Proficiency in proper use of English grammar in spoken and written word (editing and document review)
    • Take initiative to handle appropriate general information inquiries without direct supervision
    • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail and confidentiality
    • Ability to work with all levels of management in a professional manner, with the highest level of confidentiality
    • Personal demeanor that is mature, and professional
    • Ability to work in a team and improve efficiency by assisting other team members and/or asking for assistance when workloads are heavy

    • Required to work in office.
