Document Control Support Coordinator
Job Purpose:
Sanmina is looking for an experienced Document Control Specialist to join our Salt Lake City Plant in West Valley, UT. This person will release and control manufacturing documentation, process document change requests, create new part numbers and BOMs (Bill of Materials) in Oracle and Agile systems, and maintain document tasking priority for Engineering.
Nature of Duties:
Review and maintain documents such as drawings, manufacturing specifications and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO9000, AS9100 and ITAR requirements
Generate or review Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and manage the product change process from review through approval
Create new/update existing part numbers and BOMs in Agile and Oracle databases
Assist in shop floor control routing set up and data collection at various test points
Work with production control and purchasing to prepare all documentation required to purchase and schedule electronic assemblies
Education and Experience:
Associate degree
3 years of experience in Document Control, preferred
Knowledge of the manufacturing process and the documentation required to build and test product in the electronics industry, preferred
Strong understanding of product life cycle management and BOM structures
Must have excellent writing skills and effective communication skills with personnel at all levels
Strong computer skills and proficient in programs similar to MS Office
Oracle and Agile experience is a plus
