Job Description: What's a typical day like?
A typical day at Directional Traffic starts as early as 5am (sometimes earlier or night work is required), where you will meet at the central shop location and prepare the truck with that day's supplies. Most jobs require us to travel, some up to 2 hours away, but don’t worry, we pay travel time to and from the job site. Once you arrive at the job site, you will coordinate with the site foreman to set up the traffic pattern for the day. After the work is completed, a tear down of what you used will be conducted. Some workdays are short (up to 4 hours), some are longer (12 hours). Most of the time we can forecast how long each day is, but issues do arise, and it helps to be flexible.
