Document Control Manager jobs in Ohio

Document Control Manager manages the document control department to ensure that processes comply with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. Implements and directs documentation procedures in storing, updating, and distributing engineering documents, including blueprints, mechanical drawings, specification sheets, etc. Ensures that documents are stored in the correct version. Being a Document Control Manager may control released software. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Document Control Manager typically reports to a Director. The Document Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Document Control Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
