Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. The Controller will be responsible for all areas relating to the accounting functions and financial reporting. This position will be responsible for daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks and activities. The Controller will directly supervise a small accounting team, currently exclusively responsible for accounts receivable, collections, and accounts payable. The ideal candidate will be capable of making recommendations to the CFO for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting throughout the organization.

Duties:

• Apply a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure
• Ensure an accurate and timely month-end close process
• Directly supervise accounts receivable and accounts payable team, monitor and analyze workflows to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Oversee company-wide RAMP expense card management solution
• Provide support to Office Manager related to payroll, including but not limited to backup for weekly payroll processing if needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 8 years of related experience
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting are required
• Strong experience with QuickBooks is required (minimum of 2 years experience)
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus
• ADP payroll familiarity a plus
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail is required
• Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
