Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist/Scheduler
Duties:
- Utilize phone systems and computer software to input and retrieve scheduling information
-Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding appointments
-Checking patients in and acquiring proper documentation
-Faxing reports to referring providers
-Accurately assembling patient charts
- Schedule and coordinate appointments and procedures for MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-ray and Imaging C-arm procedures
-Manage and update the schedule to ensure efficient patient flow
-Communicate with technologists, referring providers and patients to ensure proper documentation to confirm appointments and resolve scheduling conflicts
Experience:
- Previous experience in a scheduling role in a healthcare setting
-Strong understanding of insurance providers
- Familiarity with phone systems and computer software used for scheduling purposes
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
