General Function:
Review new loans to ensure necessary documents are included to satisfy regulatory requirements and perfect the Bank’s lien position.
Essential Functions:
Document Review and Loan Operations
- Review new/renewed loans to ensure necessary documents are included to satisfy regulatory requirements and perfect the Bank’s lien position.
- Maintain collateral tracking and notify appropriate persons as issues or unusual items occur.
- Track expired collateral and loan documents as required. Follow up as necessary to avoid delays and/or lapses.
- Verify and document systems, scan documents and maintain appropriate records, including new and renewed loans, loan to value, exceptions, etc.
- Balance assigned general ledger account(s) by the specified timeline(s). Assist the Department in balancing other accounts as needed. Bring any unusual or unclear situations to the attention of management.
- Produce and distribute requested reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Compliance
- Diligently protect confidential information, and assist the Bank in ensuring that all confidential and sensitive information is handled appropriately.
- Maintain an active awareness and understanding of policies, procedures, designated authorities, regulations, and laws, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering Act, etc. Follow these at all times.
- Communicate openly with supervisors and other management about policies, procedures, work conduct, and job functions. Ask questions to clarify any uncertainty in issues.
- Address and report suspected violations of policy, procedure, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering Act, and other laws and guidelines, as outlined in the Code of Conduct. Reported information will be kept confidential.
- Participate in training sessions and policy updates as necessary. Assist with coordination of scheduling as appropriate.
Other
- Provide assistance and support for Credit Administration Management as necessary.
- Ability to work scheduled and other needed hours at the designated location(s)
- All Team Members should provide consistently positive, effective, helpful service to all customers, both internal and external.
- Assist other managers or Team Members as needed.
- Management or Bank policy may revise, delete, or add responsibility as necessary.

Qualification Requirements:
- Banking experience and/or good understanding of loan documents
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and telephone communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Tact and pleasantness in dealing with customers and Team Members
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Extensive deposit banking and or loan operations experience
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of banking regulations
