Verification Advocate (Hybrid)

S. history and one of the four fastest companies to make the Fortune 500! The Verification Advocate role is a phone-based, customer-facing role responsible for educating customers on the underwriting process and reviewing important account documentation.

As a Verification Advocate, you’ll be trained to understand policies and regulations across all 50 states, acting as the friendly voice of Carvana while you assist customers through the loan verification process, and ensure compliance with underwriting policies.

Salary & Perks :

Training

• Mandatory paid training will be 7 weeks
• You will be required to meet minimum performance expectations and demonstrate proficiency in order to graduate training.
• No time off will be granted during the training period

Once training is completed, various work shifts apply depending on business needs. Our team works in a shift environment between the hours of 5 : 00am-7 : 00pm Monday-Saturday and 7 : 00am-4 : 30pm Sunday, and may include holidays.

Schedules may change based on business need and will require flexibility.

We’re looking for forward-thinking fast learners with at least 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced, detail oriented, quality focused production driven role :

• Field inbound calls and make outbound calls with a high sense of urgency and close attention to detail. Being the voice of Carvana as you guide customers through the purchase process, answer their questions, and review and approve their documents.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting policies and stay up-to-speed on policy and procedure changes.
• Verify loans for customers purchasing vehicles through Carvana financing or a third-party institution.
• Utilize and navigate between multiple internal and external software tools to assist in the underwriting process (e.g. consumer credit bureaus, and other internet sources).
• Collaborate with internal teams at Carvana to help resolve customer issues and keep the purchase process moving.
• Other duties as assigned.

General qualifications and requirements include :

• 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, detail oriented, quality focused production driven role
• 1 years of experience in banking, financial services, insurance and / or related industry
• College degree preferred
• Ability to work at least one weekend day per week (Saturday OR Sunday).
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Ability to handle phone calls for up to 10 hours a day
• Ability to work across multiple software systems simultaneously
