Document Imaging Operator operates document imaging equipment to create electronic files or archives. Prepares documents for scanning, scans documents, and verifies quality of digital images. Being a Document Imaging Operator indexes and stores images according to organization guidelines. Troubleshoots and makes adjustments to equipment when necessary. Additionally, Document Imaging Operator typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Document Imaging Operator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Equipment to be used by the temporary staffing professional(s) : Computer/tablet, printer, phone, packing supplies, etc.
Computer software to be used : Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Email, others as needed.Knowledge, skills, education, and/or experience: Read and write English. Data entry of files, High school diploma.
Mandatory skills/certification(s) Requirement: Candidates must have the ability to use a computer/tablet, read and gather data, and data input. Bending/Heavy lifting of files will be necessary .Candidate must also assemble file boxes and affix label to file boxes.
Desired skills: Organizing and filing skills. Data Entry skills Sorting of boxes of confidential files. This information must be inventoried, boxed, labeled for facilities then stored properly. Candidate will read and gather data and perform data input. Bending/Heavy lifting of files will be necessary. Candidate must also assemble file boxes and affix label to file boxes.
