Document Imaging Operator operates document imaging equipment to create electronic files or archives. Prepares documents for scanning, scans documents, and verifies quality of digital images. Being a Document Imaging Operator indexes and stores images according to organization guidelines. Troubleshoots and makes adjustments to equipment when necessary. Additionally, Document Imaging Operator typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Document Imaging Operator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. 80 hours every 2 weeks | Day shift rotations between the hours of: Monday 7AM - 7PM, Tuesday - Friday 7:30AM - 5:15PM.
The purpose of this position is to prepare, perform, and understand all Imaging Department exams to include x-rays, EKGs, hearing tests, and spirometry where applicable per site. The Imaging Operator must also participate with all other daily tasks in the department, and work and communicate with other staff to maintain flow and efficiency throughout the clinic. The Imaging Operator establishes a philosophy of patient and family centered care into the staff, operations, and patient care practices.What you'll have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have passed the State of Minnesota X-ray Operator’s test. If exam was taken after January 1, 2008, applicant must have passed the core exam and all region of anatomy module exams.
- NIOSH Certification (site specific) among hire within 1 Year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider card.
