Document Imaging Operator operates document imaging equipment to create electronic files or archives. Prepares documents for scanning, scans documents, and verifies quality of digital images. Being a Document Imaging Operator indexes and stores images according to organization guidelines. Troubleshoots and makes adjustments to equipment when necessary. Additionally, Document Imaging Operator typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Document Imaging Operator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Machine Operator
Brook Whittle/Grace Imaging, located in Maumee Ohio, is a leading manufacturer of full-color labels throughout the US. Grace Imaging prides itself on having the best technology along with a team-oriented culture.
Quality Label Finisher - This position will be responsible to fulfill the job duties of label finisher to produce quality labels. This involves finishing labels by performing the daily functions of inspecting, rewinding, and packaging, and shipping labels.
Duties:
1. Verbal and written communication with other team members on workflow needs.
2. Determine and understand order instructions while meeting job requirements of setup for each order.
3. Operate rewind equipment per procedures given.
4. Inspect labels throughout the finishing process to ensure they meet customer expectations and make sure that all counts are correct and finished in quality rolls.
5. Record and document data for each job.
6. Strong attention to detail – quality is the #1 focus.
7. Meet timeline requirements for each job or communicate with a supervisor if concerns arise.
8. Maintain a safe, clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations.
9. Support operations and contribute toward team results by performing other production or related jobs as required.
10. Able to follow documented procedures and improve on the procedures moving forward.
11. Any other duties needed by the supervisor.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stoop, bend, kneel, lift, and reach; regularly required to stand for 8 hours; regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs.; regularly push and pull skids of product using a pallet jack; occasionally required to reach above shoulder height to remove items from shelving units. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
