Document Imaging Operator operates document imaging equipment to create electronic files or archives. Prepares documents for scanning, scans documents, and verifies quality of digital images. Being a Document Imaging Operator indexes and stores images according to organization guidelines. Troubleshoots and makes adjustments to equipment when necessary. Additionally, Document Imaging Operator typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Document Imaging Operator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. The successful candidate will assist in the team efforts of a busy Quality Fulfillment Services department. The successful candidate must demonstrate the capacity to consistently detect, communicate, and/or repair data or production quality variations in tandem with the ability to read, identify and match names and/or other personalized data across multiple materials. Team and individual metrics are based in the endeavor to eliminate all errors from leaving the building.
