POSITION SUMMARY

Complete assignments by Document Control Supervisor to manage project related material during the life of a project.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Receive and store all drawings, design documents, vendor information, etc. that pertain to any project in-house.
• Distribute and circulate information in a timely manner as requested.
• Maintain and update drawing files, drawing lists, construction drawings, vendor drawings, and design reference drawings, etc.
• Assist in preparation of close out of project (final deliverables, archiving, storage).
• Order and maintain printer supplies.
• Maintain copiers and wide format printer, including loading paper and troubleshooting printer functions.

DIRECTION RECEIVED

Works under general supervision of the Document Control Supervisor with specific project assignments directed by Project Managers and Discipline Leads.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PER JOB LEVEL

• Specialist IV High School Diploma or at least one year of relevant experience
• Specialist III - High School Diploma plus a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
• Specialist II - High School Diploma plus a minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
• Specialist I - Technical or trade school or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 6 years relevant experience. Continuing education recommended.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Sufficient vision to operate a computer during most of the workday. Ability to operate large-capacity printers. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. (Must be able to handle and load rolls of paper on plotter, and copy paper for all copiers.)

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Overtime may be required for limited periods of time.
• Travel away from the office may be required.
