Description
Position summary:
Provides support for our loan processing system. Performs variety of clerical duties; requiring knowledge of departmental procedures and software. Scanning and importing of loan documents for both Mortgage and Consumer Loans into various electronic storage software. Back up Electronic Lien filing with both Simplifile and BMV. Formulate and generate mailings as requested. Review of Electronic Document storage for daily updates.
Duties:
1. Electronic Lien filing with BMV offices.
2. Maintain and Record documents through Simplifile for Mortgages and Mortgage Releases.
3. Scan both Mortgage and Consumer loans in respective software and monitor for items to flow to document storage on a daily basis.
4. Monitor daily reports for missing documentation and facilitate the upload of the missing documents.
5. Maintain review for Adverse Loan uploads and flow to Director
6. Duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Relationships/Qualifications:
1. Responsible to the VP Director of Mortgage Operations & LOS Administrator for the fulfillment of duties assigned
2. Has the ability to achieve profit, growth and customer service objectives within Bank policy guidelines
3. Computer skills, time management, and communication skills
4. Should be analytically minded and possess good judgment
5. Must work well within the department setting with solid interpersonal skills
6. Strong working knowledge of the bank’s lending policies, procedures and documentation requirements. Previous loan processing, closing or originating a plus
7. This position requires general banking knowledge, specifically in the mortgage area, basic computer skills and an attention to detail and accuracy
