Document Imaging Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Being a Document Imaging Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. - Perform a wide range of general diagnostic imaging procedures in the imaging department, in surgery and the Emergency Department, and at the patient’s bedside.
- Proficiently operate imaging equipment
- Utilize the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
- Apply principles of radiation safety and practices ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable).
- Perform EHR clerical functions related to patient chart documentation.
Qualifications- Required High School Diploma
- 1 year of relevant experience must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program Required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
