Document Imaging Supervisor oversees personnel responsible for operating document imaging equipment for use in the creation of images or text. Document Imaging Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Being a Document Imaging Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members.     Position Summary 

    Produces diagnostic images of anatomic structures and records physiologic data utilizing ionizing radiation, giving the utmost attention to the needs of the patient and family with limited direct supervision. Provides service to patients throughout the life span including newborns, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.


    Minimum Qualifications 

      • Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED.  Graduate of an approved two year program in Radiologic Technology.
      • Minimum Experience:  None.
      • Certification/Licensure:  Holds and maintains current registry certificate of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.  Holds and maintains current New Mexico State Certificate as a Radiographic Radiologic Technologist. 

    CPR certification.

    Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
