Description:
This position is cross-functional in nature and requires networking and relationship development among Quality, Sourcing, Design, Suppliers and Warehouse Management on General Merchandise product. Operates in a continuous improvement mode focusing on supplier quality levels in the areas of warranty, defect rate and factory auditing. Develops and reports quality business unit analytics in support of General Merchandise's warranty and product defect plans to improve Quality goals and metrics. Influences Quality decisions through trend analysis with facilitating the transition from data to insight by presenting recommendations to mitigate identified risks to leadership. Systems used for reporting include; Microsoft Office, AS400, Performance Reporting, SAP and FlexPLM.
