Documentation Clerk is responsible for clerical duties related to the maintenance of technical documentation. Completes tracking, logging, updating and version control of technical documents according to business standards. Being a Documentation Clerk requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Documentation Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. This position will lead the creation and/or modification of New Model and Mass Production process documentation, ensure the QMS processes are established/implemented and maintained.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to the following: FMEA/Control Plan/Work Instruction/Inspection instructions/Daily check sheet/LNDD and MPR creation. Participate in failure investigations and problem-solving events to ensure documentation changes are incorporated...Support internal and external QAV's...Work with other departments to maintain clear accurate documentation and communication...Audit production for improvement to methods, procedures, documentation or equipment...Lead QMS audits, prepare/submit audit notes, non-conformances and audit closing information. Track audit corrective actions/reports and log. Evaluate and track auditor competency.
