    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    Responsible to facilitate the improvement in the overall quality, completeness and accuracy of all clinical record documentation. Obtains appropriate clinical documentation through extensive interaction with physicians, nursing staff, other patient caregivers, and coding staff to ensure that documentation reflects the level of service rendered to patients is complete and accurate.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

    • RN Licensure in the state of Pennsylvania required
    • Five (5) years experience in acute hospital clinical setting and/or insurance company required

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

    • One (1) year in Clinical Documentation experience preferred.
    • Certification preferred.
