POSITION SUMMARY
Advanced Thin Films (ATF) manufactures optics for high energy lasers and is undertaking multiple large projects to develop new capabilities and to optimize existing capabilities and procedures. In support of these projects, this position is responsible for cleaning optics, operating coating chambers, metrology, documentation of processes and procedures, and mentoring and training optical technicians.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cleaning and inspection of optics.
Operation of coating chambers.
Metrology of optics including measuring spectral characteristics, wavefront errors, and durability.
Documentation (authors and revises) of processes and procedures typically performed in the laboratory.
Works with quality to understand discrepancies in documentation
Respond directly to user feedback and integrate user suggestions to continuously improve your documentation.
Mentoring and training optics technicians.

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE
B.A. or B.S. or the equivalent in work experience
US citizenship required

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $45,400.00 - $68,200.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
