This individual will complete training in Munster, IN and will be based out of an office TBD.

WORK HOURS:

Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the documentation of commercial loans including commercial real estate purchases and construction transactions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Document commercial loans including commercial real estate purchases and construction transactions from approval through closing; Prepare LaserPro loan documents in accordance with bank policies and procedures, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Coordinate and resolve any related documentation exceptions, including procedural and title issues, prior to loan closing and disbursement of loan proceeds.
• Input HMDA data into the HMDA LAR and work with the Closing Team Lead and Compliance area to ensure all data is correct for reporting.
• Contribute to and assist in overall lending operations to ensure the department runs efficiently; Perform ongoing maintenance of collateral ticklers for security documentation tracking purposes.
• Assist with the review of collateral insurance documents to determine adequacy of coverage; Assist Commercial Loan officers with servicing commercial loan customers in all aspects of their banking relationship.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Education - High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience - Two (2) or more years of job-related experience.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of construction transactions, commercial loan policy, procedures, documentation, and systems.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• excellent verbal and written communication skills.
