Documentation Specialist jobs in Grand Forks, ND

Provide detailed working diagrams of engineered products prior to production release, including dimensions, fastening methods and other engineering information. Assists in preparation and dissemination of the Bills of Materials for new products and revisions to existing products. Assists in the creation and maintenance of work procedures and external product manuals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

• Updates detailed technical drawings, prints and specifications for products according to engineering drawings and keeps them up to date in all areas of the business.
• Prepares and enters BOM for new and revised products into ERP system.
• Communicates additions and revisions in BOM to internal and external stakeholders.
• Lays out, draws, reproduces, and maintains illustrations for product reference manuals and production process documents.
• Develops and maintains customer interface documents such as operator manuals per internal and OEM specifications.
• QMS documentation control.

Supports and conforms to Quality Management System requirements as defined by CEG and ISO 9001:2015.

Education and/or Experience:

• Experienced user of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and various engineering and design CAD products including Inventor.
• Minimum of two-year mechanical drafting degree preferred.
• Strong communications and interpersonal capabilities.
• Smart and exceptional organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
