Who You Are and What You’ll Do

We are looking for an intelligent, detail-oriented, and driven in-house Documentation Specialist to maintain our database of vendor documentation. This individual will ensure all required documentation is on file and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

· Ensures all paperwork is up to date

· Maintains vendor approval paperwork including Safe Work documents, and Certificates of Insurance. Notifies department head and/or vendors when updates are due.

· Maintains schedule of business permits, required inspections, and certifications. Ensures appropriate associates are notified to maintain compliance.

· Contacts vendors for updated information as needed

· Follows up with, and involves, Purchasing, R&D, and/or Quality as needed

· Maintains lot code database by ingredient

· Partners with relevant departments to determine what is required for new ingredients

· Ensures Certificate of Analysis (CoA) is received, meets all requirements, and is filed

o Ensures lot codes match

o Compares CoA specifications to ingredient specifications

o Confirms all criteria are within spec

o If out of spec, works with relevant departments to determine what if ingredients can be used or placed on hold

What You’ll Need to Succeed

· Must be detail oriented

· Focused, engaged and diligent of tasks

· Strong Excel skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· High level of accuracy

Physical Requirements

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

· Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs, kneel, stoop/crouch

Pay

The pay range for this position is $40,000-$45,000. Abe’s Vegan Muffins takes into consideration a wide range of factors in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
